Jin Shin Jyutsu for Your Animal Companion®

Jin Shin Jyutsu can be used with your animal companions as well as people.  All living creatures are made up of energy pathways and circulation patterns.  Blockages in these pathways can lead to dis-ease and disharmony.  Jin Shin Jyutsu for animals releases this tension allowing for increased wellness, ease of movement, and vitality.  Maggie uses Jin Shin Jyutsu with many kinds of animals, including horses, cats and dogs.

"I have been an animal lover my whole life. I am deeply enriched by opportunities to help and serve the animals I come into contact with. I really just want to experience loving them as unconditionally as they love us. I enjoy helping them feel better whether it is through kind words, gentle touch or simply just acknowledging their magnificence. This is a gift to share with the world as they share their love and joy with all." ~Maggie

What's in a session?

Keep in mind that your animal has not chosen to call Maggie and schedule an appointment, you did!  When she starts a session with the animal, sometimes it can take anywhere from 5-20 minutes for the animal to settle in and relax enough to receive Jin Shin Jyutsu.  Most sessions with animals last 20-45 minutes, and very rarely will it last an hour, but please plan on the whole hour for settling time and self help advice.  Maggie will offer JSJ with your animal.  Not every animal chooses to receive.  Maggie will never impose JSJ on an animal.  Please call and ask questions to see if Jin Shin Jyutsu is right for your animal!

Please book your appointment by phone or text.

Cats

Cats have a mind of their own and won’t always stay in one place for long.  They are also sensitive to energy movements, so cats may be more challenging to treat.  Dogs will usually settle down after the excitement of a new person wears off.  Jin Shin Jyutsu is always offered to the animals and it is up to them whether they receive it or not.

Kota Bear's Story

Kota had a swollen eye and was itching it with his right paw.  This was Friday night.  He went to the veterinarian on Saturday morning, after receiving two Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions; one on Friday night and one on Saturday morning.  He had a foxtail stuck in his eye, under his third eyelid where it wasn't visible.  The foxtail had scratched a fifth of his cornea.  Luckily it was only a superficial scratch which usually takes a week or so to heal.  Monday morning, after receiving two more sessions on Sunday morning and Sunday night, and a few days of antibiotics and pain medication (apparently, it is very painful to have a scratched cornea) everything was completely healed!  I am convinced that the Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions helped the healing process and his speedy recovery.
